Today, Tiramisù is the world’s most famous dess Today, Tiramisù is the world’s most famous dessert and it is considered a modern dessert par “excellence”.

The word Tiramisù literally means “pick me up”. It comes from the Treviso dialect, “Tireme su”, Italianised into Tiramisù in the latter half of the 20th century. Historical records state that Tiramisù originated in Treviso in 1800. It is said that this dessert was invented by a clever “maitresse” of a house of pleasure in the centre of Treviso.

Some particular aspects passed down orally are unmistakable proof of the Veneto and Treviso origins of this dessert. The recipe comes from the “sbatudin”, a mix of egg yolk beaten together with sugar and commonly used by Treviso farmers as a restorative for newly-weds.

Mamma Marzia’s Torta Di mele con Limoncello/ App Mamma Marzia’s Torta Di mele con Limoncello/ Apple cake with Limoncello 
Ingredients:
🍎 3 apple 
🍎3 tbsp Limoncello or juice of a lemon
🍎3 eggs 
🍎100 g sugar ( half cup)
🍎60 ml milk
🍎60 ml oil 
🍎 zest of one lemon
🍎pinch of salt
🍎300 g flour
🍎1 lievito bertolini ( Italian baking powder) or 1tbsp regular baking powder 
🍎1 tbsp sugar for the top +few pinch for the apple that will soak in lemon juice
🍎a sprinkle of love 
You will need a baking pan 9.8 inch/ 24 cm
Method:
🍎Peel the apples. Cut one apple in cubes, put it in a bowl and pour limoncello. Slice one apple and half and put it in  a bowl with lemon juice and a tsp of sugar. The half apple left grate it and leave it on a side we will put it in the cake batter for more moist.
🍎Turn oven on at 350 F/180C

🍎Beat eggs and sugar until is fluffy ( it will have a yellow colour) 
🍎 Add milk and oil and mix
🍎 Add lemon zest
🍎Add the grated apple mix
🍎Mix the flour and the baking powder 
🍎 Add it to the cake dough and mix until smooth 
🍎 Add the apple that you soaked in Limoncello and mix
🍎Cover the baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter 🥰
🍎Pour your cake batter in the pan 
🍎put the sliced apple soaked in lemon juice on top of your cake pressing down gently and sprinkle few pinch of sugar on the top
🍎Bake at 350 for 40/45 minutes ( check with toothpicks if its ready) 
🍎For the top colour I broil for 2 minutes 
🍎Happy Cooking and don’t forget to add a sprinkle of love ❤️ 
Mamma Marzia’Tip:
If you use Parchment paper wash it in water quickly, squeeze the water out, quickly dry it with towel and put it in your baking pan.The parchment paper will fit in your pan easily

Scaloppine al Marsala/ Marsala This is such an ea Scaloppine al Marsala/ Marsala 
This is such an easy way to make scaloppine al Marsala. 
You can use any type of meat such as veal, beef, chicken, turkey, pork.
Ingredients:
 
6 scaloppine veal or beef or chicken
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil evo
1/4 cup flour 
1/4 cup vegetables broth or water
1/2 cup Marsala
Salt and Pepper 
A sprinkle of love

Method:
Season the scaloppine with salt and pepper. Put them in a plate and cover them with flour in both side.
In a no stick frying pan put the butter and oil and let it warm up. 
Add the scaloppine and cook them for few minutes in each side. Be careful to not overcooked otherwise the meat will become hard.

When the meat is ready put it in a plate and pour the broth in the frying pan. Add the Marsala and with rubber spatula scrub around the pan. Let it evaporate for a minute and add the meat back to the pan.
Flip it and get the meat covered with the delicious sauce in both side.
Serve it with a good bread and you will have an amazing dinner.

Very successful Gluten-Free Ravioli Class at @fvco Very successful Gluten-Free Ravioli Class at @fvcontinuinged yesterday morning with some amazing people.
I teach Gluten Free class just with @fvcontinuinged because of @kimrosset 😂
I must say I feel very thankful because in 1 year I have learned how to perfection Gluten Free Pasta so now I can add it to my next cookbook for sure.
So many people are Gluten-free intolerant here in North America and I’m happy I can help a small part of them for now.
Developing a perfect Gluten-free Recipe is not easy, it takes a lot of trying and fail.

‼️Attention‼️The quality of this recipe vi ‼️Attention‼️The quality of this recipe video is terrible but I wanted to post anyway because lots of people asked me the recipe in my Stories.
My family loved it a lot ❤️
It is a very filling dish and not expensive to make.
Here the ingredients:

4 Italian Sausages 
500 g potatoes, riced or mashed
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
3 tbsp Parmigiano Reggiano
Salt and pepper
250 g Fiordilatte or Mozzarella or any cheese that melts is fine
1 tbsp butter
2 handful breadcrumbs 

Method:
1) In a stir fry pan cook the sausage without the peel.
2)In a bowl put the mashed or riced potatoes and add the salt, pepper, milk, the 2 eggs slightly beaten, Parmigiano and Mix.
3) Grab a 9 inch baking pan and cover it with parchment paper
4)Put half of the potatoes mix in the baking pan.
5) Add the sausage and the Fiordilatte.
6)Cover everything with the rest of the potatoes.
7) Put the butter on top and sprinkle the breadcrumbs.
8) Bake at 380 for 30 minutes and enjoy 😊 
9) Buon Appetito and don’t forget to add the love ❤️

Gnudi/Ricotta and Spinach Gnocchi
 
Ingredients:
• 250 g ricotta, drained
• 250 g spinach
• 1 small egg or 1 egg yolk
• 100/ 150 g flour, aprox
• Nutmeg
• Few Handful Parmigiano
• Salt and Pepper
• A sprinkle of love
 
Method:
• Cook the spinach in a skillet with a bit of butter.
• Squeeze all the water out and chop them.
• Put the ricotta in a big colander and try to drain all the excess water.
• Put the spinach and ricotta in big bowl. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add egg and parmigiano and mix.
• Add the flour a bit at the time.
• The consistency of the dough is moist. Don’t add too much flour otherwise they will come harder.
• Put some oil in your hands and start to shape the gnocchi. You can also shape them with the help of 2 spoons. They can have a round shape or oval.
• Roll them quicky in flour before boiling them in big pot of water.
• If some of the gnocchi fall a part in water its totally ok, you made them. Be proud.
• Serve them with butter and sage sauce or any sauce that you like
• Don’t forget to add love

Do you make your own vegetables broth? Its so easy Do you make your own vegetables broth? Its so easy and so healthy for you.
I hope you make it.
I made it today and with a big pot of water I was able to make 3 portion of vegetables broth. I storage the broth in zip lock bag and I freeze it. 
I was able to freeze 2 bags+ I had one more that I used tonight for pastina.
I blended the vegetables all together and I will use one part to make a minestra di riso/ Rise soup tomorrow and the rest I will freeze it for next week.
Pretty amazing right? 
Plus its so healthy, I never never buy premade broth because its so easy to make.
